About Us
The first record we have of Scouting in Bridgnorth is the 3 rd Bridgnorth in 1915 and in the 1920’s the former foundry building behind Bishop Percys House on Cartway was used by the Bridgnorth Scouts. 8th Bridgnorth was first registered in 1951 and continues today as a thriving Group with a membership of over 200.
We are active in the local community with all our Sections – Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers helping out and supporting local events and volunteering with community groups.
Our Scout hut, purpose built on Love Lane, provides a great place for us to meet and being situated by the dingle also gives us access to green spaces as well for our Scouts to explore and complete outdoor activities too.
We also have a range of equipment to enable our activities including archery, camping, climbing, arts and craft, cooking and sports to name but a few.
